そんな夜の、ある問題について。

【ちぇれめいえレポート】

（※さっきの続き）continued to last post

毎日やってくる停電。

Everyday current nei (means electricity is gone!).

バングラは停電が本当に多いです。

国じゅうでみんなが一番電気を使う夜の時間。

もうわたしも子どもたちも慣れっこで、

停電に誰もびっくりはしないのですが・・・

Here Bangladesh everyday electricity is gone.

Nobody is surprised to this situation anymore, but... 

この時間は子どもたちのお勉強タイムなのです。

The time is always studying time for students.

この日、

ちょうど停電になったとき寄宿舎にいたわたしたち。

We were at residential hostel at that time.

バンッ！・・・・・・暗っ！！！！

この子たちは黙ってろうそくを持ってきて、

３人で灯りをシェア。

そしてまたテキストに戻りました。

They started to use candle like this picture.

「明日、英語のテストだもん。がんばる！」

"We have English exam tomorrow! I'll do my best!"

ここに小さくていいからスタンドライトがあったらなー

ひとつの寄宿舎に数人持っている子はいるのですが、

多くの子はろうそくだけ。

ろうそくがない子は友達の灯りをシェア。

If there were small stand light for each students...

毎日学校で過ごし、こんな様子を見ていて、

そしてそれでも頑張って勉強する子どもたちを見ていて、

ちぇれめいえprojectでミニスタンド懐中電灯をプレゼントすることに決めました。

I see them everyday study hard under darkness.

And we decided to present small stand lights for each students.

小さなプレゼントだけれど、

これからひとりひとりの名前を書いて、

（「にほんごでも書いてよー」と言われたのでカタカナ付き笑）

寮に持って行こうと思います。

Those are small presents but we will put each name to each light 

(students said write the name in Japanese also...!)

and visit hostel with them next time:)
